About OMPH
Our Mother of Perpetual Help School in Ephrata, PA offers an academically challenging and faith-filled Catholic education for children in nine local school districts. We are blessed to be supported by Our Mother of Perpetual Help, St. James (Lititz), and Our Lady of Lourdes (New Holland) parishes. Early education is offered for Preschool (ages 3 and 4, full day, Monday through Friday) along with full day kindergarten through eighth grades. The Redemptorist Fathers are present daily within the school to interact and spiritually guide our children. The students celebrate Holy Mass weekly as a community and have daily school-wide prayer. The latest technology can be found in classrooms and our Media Center, with students using ChromeBooks and iPads to support their lessons. The school offers a 16:1 student-teacher ratio. Extracurricular activities are available such as choir, instrumental instruction, clubs and CYAA sports. Affordable after school care is offered and busing is provided by nine local school districts.
At OMPH School, we strive for academic excellence by establishing high standards and maintaining a skilled teaching staff with nearly 300 years of experience combined. Our children are encouraged to do challenging work and rise to meet that expectation. Early in the education process, our teachers emphasize good intellectual habits such as clarity, accuracy, thoroughness, and organization, while fostering creativity and a love of beauty through the fine arts.
We encourage our children to follow our mantra of Reverence, Respect, and Responsibility: reverence for God, respect for others, and responsibility for self.
