On Friday, May 8 we honored our Blessed Virgin Mary with a special May crowning ceremony. The children braved a chilly May morning to stand outside our school and watch as 2nd Grade students Maddie and Bodhi crowned Mary. The arrival of warmer weather sparked creativity in our students as they worked on fun projects in March related to St. Patrick’s Day and Lent. Kindergarten Gold, along with their 5th grade prayer pals, made hand traced rainbows leading to pots of gold. Lucky the leprechaun turned their room upside down and left gold coins behind.
