Welcome Back to Preschool 3 and Preschool 4 at Our Mother of Perpetual Help School! Mrs. Edmiston and Mrs. Hammond are very excited to kick off another joyful and faith-filled school year in our Preschool Programs! These programs are thoughtfully designed to nurture your child’s heart, mind, and spirit—building a strong foundation in both early learning and Catholic values. This marks OMPH School’s fifth year as a full-time program, and we’re thrilled to continue growing and learning together!
Meet Our Wonderful Classrooms:
Preschool 3: Led by the caring and creative Mrs. Hammond, with the ever-supportive Mrs. Weiser as the classroom assistant.
Preschool 4: Guided by the nurturing Mrs. Edmiston, alongside the helpful and cheerful Mrs. Kalpokas.
A Peek into Our Daily Rhythm:
Our little learners follow a well-balanced schedule filled with opportunities to explore, play, and grow. A typical day in our classrooms include a morning meeting and circle time, free play and small group activities. Large group times and music and movement often give the children an opportunity to move and groove! The children head to the cafeteria for lunch and then enjoy outdoor gross motor play.
The afternoon includes story time and nap time to rest and recharge, snack time, and a closing meeting to end the day. This year, our students will enjoy three enriching special classes each week. In Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, Mrs. Wissler and Mrs. Lewis guide the children through a hands-on exploration of faith. During Library Time, Mrs. Dreihaup brings stories to life, sparking a love of reading.
Music Class with Mrs. Sands fills our classrooms with rhythm, songs, and joyful movement. We also invite special guests throughout the year to teach students about different careers. In past years we’ve welcomed a nurse, a firefighter, a police officer, a farmer, and a military service member. We look forward to meeting even more real-life heroes this year! We are so grateful to walk alongside you and your children on this early education journey. Here’s to a year of growth, giggles, and God’s grace!
