Celebrating Catholic Schools Week: January 25—January 31

OMPH is excited for a week of fun activities Celebrating Our School!

Sunday: Opening of Catholic Schools Week – Celebrate our Parish – We will be celebrating the 9:00 am Mass as a Parish and School family. Refreshments and an Open House will follow Mass until Noon. Science Fair, History projects and recycling projects will be on display.

Monday: Celebrating Our Community. Students will make cards for residents at Keystone Villa. We will be collecting comfort items throughout the week for the OMPH Community Food Bank. We will also honor our staff and volunteers who do so much for our school.

Tuesday: Celebrating Our Students. Students will enjoy a dress down day, and no homework! Our Spelling Bee will be held for grades 4 to 6. The winner will represent our school at the Diocesan Spelling Bee. The PTO will have an ice cream social for all students after lunch.

Wednesday: Celebrating Our Nation. Students may dress in patriotic colors. Students in grades 5 to 8 will be competing in the Geography Bee. The winner will represent our school at the Diocesan Geography Bee. We will be collecting items throughout the week for Veterans at the VA Hospital in Lebanon.

Thursday: Celebrating Our Vocations. Students will have classroom faith bees today and will learn about religious vocations. The students will also make cards of encouragement for the Redemptorist and Diocesan seminarians in the Diocese of Harrisburg.

Friday: Celebrating Our Teachers. Be kind to your teacher today! Thank you to the PTO for providing lunch for our teachers. We will have a Pep Rally for our students this afternoon.

Join Us for an Open House on January 25!

OMPH School students will be leading the 9:00 am Mass, followed by refreshments in the Gym and an Open House! All are welcome to visit our classrooms and meet our teachers after Mass until Noon.
