Missionary Childhood Association Update

Thank you for your continued support of our school’s service efforts. Mrs. Lentz shared a quick update about how our 7th and 8th Grade students have been leading the way of service through the Mission Cart and MCA Dress Down Days this year.
MCA (Missionary Childhood Association) was created to foster a missionary spirit in youth and promote “children helping children” by sharing their faith and material goods. Donations support building schools, providing food, operating orphanages, and funding religious education. We hope to instill that missionary spirit in our students through the leadership skills they are developing while organizing these fundraisers.
Our students select items for the Mission Cart, set prices, decide on monthly dress down dates and themes, and design flyers. They collect dress down donations, count the monies raised, and visit classrooms to explain the dress down themes and why we are supporting the missions. When students purchase items from the Mission Cart, everyone at OMPH can feel good knowing their purchase helps children in need. “We are always collecting monetary donations for the missions and donations to sell on the Mission Cart.
We appreciate this partnership with the students in this noble venture,” exclaimed Mrs. Lentz! OMPH School has raised over $5,100 for the Missionary Childhood Association in the 2025-26 school year alone!
